Ann & Steve Ordway have successfully navigated their way through
the triumphs and tribulations of a modern step family. They share
a blended household with their combined total of seven children
and have extensive personal and professional parenting
experience.

Ann Scucci Ordway, J.D., Esq.
Ann has been a practicing Family Law attorney for more than 15
years, with extensive litigation experience in high conflict divorce
and custody matters, DYFS matters and domestic violence cases.
She is a trained mediator, a community educator, a motivational
speaker and a communications facilitator. Ann has Masters
credits in Counseling Psychology and additional training in various
areas related to mental health and child development. She is
certified by the Stepfamily Foundation as a Stepfamily Coach and
Mediator. Ann has been a trainer in the field of Domestic Violence
and parenting. She has been a child advocate for many years.
Ann has been appointed by the Courts and has served as a
Parenting Coordinator, a Law Guardian and a Guardian Ad Litem.
In these capacities, she has visited families in their homes,
investigated circumstances of children caught in the middle of
family litigation, has rendered reports for the Courts regarding the
needs and the best interests of the children involved and she has
been called upon to testify at trial and Plenary Hearings.
Stephen D. Ordway
Steve served as a member of the New Jersey Crime-stoppers for
more than 10 years. He is a certified substitute teacher and a
former Scout Leader and Scout Master. Steve has been certified by
the Stepfamily Foundation as a Stepfamily Coach. He is a
community educator, a motivational speaker and a
communications facilitator. He has Masters credits in both Special
Education and Clinical Psychology. He is a former Green Beret,
having served more than one tour in Vietnam. Steve has also
chaired numerous fund raisers for the benefit of various issues
affecting children and their families.
